Invoices and payment methods

You receive your invoices by email, and all of them are listed on the subscription page in your browser. You also change your payment method there.

Invoices

You get every invoice as a PDF by email. All your invoices and invoice corrections are also on the subscription page, even after your subscription has ended:

  1. Open Settings › Account.
  2. Click Manage subscription in the plan card, or without a subscription Open in browser next to Account and invoices. The subscription page opens in your browser.
  3. Under Invoices, click PDF next to the invoice you need.

The list shows the date, number and amount of each document, with the newest at the top. If an invoice shows a note instead of the PDF link, you can request it through Support.

For an invoice in a company name, fill in Buying as a business with the company and VAT ID when you book. With a valid EU VAT ID from outside Germany, Stenowise issues the invoice without VAT.

Change your payment method

  1. Open Settings › Account.
  2. Click Manage subscription. The subscription page opens in your browser.
  3. Click Renew payment method.
  4. Enter the new credit card.

Ten cents are charged to check the card and refunded straight away. The subscription page then shows “Payment method renewed. Future charges use the new card.”

When a payment fails

If the charge for a renewal fails, you get an email with the subject “Payment failed”.

  1. Open the link in the email, or click Manage subscription under Settings › Account in Stenowise.
  2. Update your payment method on the subscription page as described above.

The charge is then retried automatically. Without a successful payment, your account moves to Free. You can book Pro again at any time, in your browser or in the app.
